Agreement provides verbal and physical conflict management training to all Meeker staff
Milwaukee, WI — October 27, 2025 — Meeker Memorial Hospital signed a three-year content license agreement with Vistelar to provide a new training initiative which will equip 275 staff members with advanced conflict prevention, de-escalation, and personal protection skills.
Vistelar, a nationally recognized healthcare conflict management training company, will deliver their Unified Conflict Management System, including intellectual property, content, and training for:
- Workplace violence prevention, management, interventions, and stabilization
- An on-demand, healthcare-specific conflict management course
The tailored, evidence-based training is focused on:
- Early-warning recognition so staff can identify and address potential risks before they escalate.
- Non-escalation skills to prevent situations from escalating into workplace violence.
- Confidence-building strategies to ensure staff feel prepared and supported in challenging situations.
- Safety-enhancing de-escalation, personal protection, and intervention skills.
