Vistelar can deliver its Unified Conflict Management System™ via the traditional approach to the training business, with packaged curriculum, train-the-trainer training, a workbook purchase requirement, and a requirement for periodic recertification of trainers (Vistelar does not have such a requirement). While this approach is optimal for some clients, it has the following restrictions:
  • Training cannot deviate from the defined lesson plan
  • Trainers can only be developed by the training vendor
  • Vendor-supplied courseware cannot be modified and must be purchased for each student on a periodic basis (or, alternatively, a per-student license is charged which includes the cost of the workbook)
  • Training content cannot be incorporated into other training modalities (e.g., online courses, virtual classes of different lengths) by the organization
  • Trainers must be periodically recertified by the training vendor (again, Vistelar does not have this requirement)
These restrictions cause obvious issues for many organizations, which is why Vistelar developed its Content License Program. The unique program eliminates all of these restrictions.
 
With this program, clients select which of Vistelar’s many training programs they want to license (see list below)  and — in conjunction with a multi-year, multi-phase, and risk-tier-specific implementation and sustainment program — are granted the right to use the licensed products in a defined territory.
This program offers the following benefits:

Maximum Impact  — for the benefits of our conflict management training to be fully realized, our training must create permanent changes in employee behavior. Unless workers actually apply the principles and tactics of the Unified Conflict Management System, conflict won’t be prevented and, when it does occur, it won’t be well managed — and the expected benefits will be compromised. These attributes of the Vistelar Content License Program ensure the impact of working with Vistelar is maximized:

For many organizations, these benefits make the Content License Program a better option than the traditional approach to the training business.
With the traditional approach, trainers receive a facilitator guide and access to an Instructor Portal with the latest version of the training program slides and videos.
 
In contrast, with the content license approach, the Licensee receives access to a Licensed Content Portal that includes training manuals, curriculum elements, courseware, videos, photos, and graphics and there is no need to purchase workbooks from Vistelar. In addition, the content license approach eliminates the restrictions of the traditional approach and thus enables the Licensee to
  • customize the training content, instruction method, and courseware for each department and/or risk tier within the enterprise (e.g., within a hospital — front-line staff, patient care providers, ED/behavioral health staff, home healthcare personnel, security professionals)
  • develop an unlimited number of trainers (with no Vistelar requirement for recertification)
  • reproduce printed materials (no requirement to purchase materials from Vistelar)
