Contract Instructor
Position Overview
Vistelar is seeking a Contract Instructor to deliver learner-centered, experiential training aligned with the Vistelar Unified Conflict Management System. Reporting to the Chief Clinical Officer, this role supports curriculum execution and may lead breakout sessions or skills training.
While full-class instruction is not required, Contract Instructors play a critical role in delivering high-quality, engaging learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver training using learner-centered instructional methodologies
- Support curriculum execution and content integration
- Lead breakout sessions and skills-based training as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in training delivery and facilitation
- Familiarity with the Vistelar Conflict Management System or ability to demonstrate competency within 6 months of training
- Ability to effectively lead breakout sessions and skills training
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to receive feedback and engage in continuous improvement
- Ability to travel domestically at least 6 times annually (with opportunity for additional travel)

Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in education, healthcare, communication, or a related field
- Recent (within 12 months) clinical experience, licensure, or certification
- Experience training in high-stakes or emotionally charged environments
- Knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional coaching
- Demonstrated ability to model conflict management principles in real-world scenarios
- Cross-sector experience (e.g., healthcare, law enforcement, academia)

Instructional Competence
- Demonstrates proficiency in learner-centered, experiential delivery during evaluations
Curriculum Fidelity
- Maintains ≥90% adherence to standardized curriculum
Learner Engagement
- Achieves an average learner satisfaction score of 4.5/5 or higher
Facilitation Versatility
- Leads training across at least two professional sectors annually
Feedback Responsiveness
- Integrates feedback into continuous improvement plans
Training Volume
- Participates in a minimum of 6 training sessions per year
Professional Development
- Completes at least 1 continuing education activity annually
